Music Portraits

I am very affected by music, I have mild synesthesia and see many shapes and colours when I listen to certain types of music, so I like painting and drawing under these circumstances. I expect to do more in this series

Eda Scheurer Project

Eda Scheurer was my great great grandmother, a formidable woman by all accounts. I found her story fascinating and so pursued a whole illustartion project around what I found out from relatives. I also met some distant cousins as a result. This project is ongoing and will culminate in a big private social networking site for the whole of the family.
