I built a responsive website for Penguin’s Readarama, a project to encourage users to read a book a week from Penguin’s vast stock. The site incorporates social network functionality around the reading choices and encourages the audience to give feedback along the lines of an interactive book club. The structure is a simple fluid grid with a few behavioural breakpoints. The design starting point was a pre-existing illustration by Isobel Knowles for Impress a Penguin. The site sits on a WordPress framework and allows Penguin staff to update the site easily and dynamically.Go to the live version >
