Manisa Lekprayoon
Manisa was born and grew up in Bangkok, Thailand. For three years she worked as a graphic designer for the Pink Blue Black & Orange Co Ltd before moving to London to expand her already impressive portfolio by studying illustration and design at the London College of Communication (University of Arts London).
She has exhibited her distinctive and highly original artwork in both London and Birmingham. The experience of studying and working in a foreign culture has certainly influenced her approach to design. Her designs are often based on the expressive power of both image and space, and she has a unique talent for integrating both handcrafted and digital techniques with startling results. She continues to push boundaries by constantly experimenting with different mediums and techniques. She is currently exploring different forms of language as both figurative and abstract images.
