Stefano Terranova
Stefano was born in Rome in 1980, but at the age of 10 moved with his family in a very tiny town on the Adriatic Sea. Little they knew that this experience would have influenced Stefano’s life forever. At the age of 18, feeling oppressed, depressed, bored and trapped by the life in the village, he escaped to the biggest city he could afford to travel to, London.
Since his early years in London Stefano has been an active DJ in free parties, an activist on the squats scene, a gardener, an electrician, a busker on the tube, a builder, an artist, a scuba diver, a successful student, a chronic traveler, a graphic designer, a photographer and everything else he had the chance to try with his hands, mind and soul.
He has a first class degree in videogame design, a diploma in fine arts and has worked for the Walt Disney Company as an artist and videogame designer.
His eclectic approach to life is transferred almost seamlessly in his illustrations, in which he is always experimenting with new techniques and pushing the medium to its limits.
He currently works as a freelance designer, illustrator and web designer/developer, he is still a chronic traveler and spends most of his free time in Phestonia, from which he occasionally sends some postcards.
