3451226004_ca3e168633I started my working career in a commercial art studio before becoming a make-up artist. I’ve hidden the flaws of many a celebrity and model over the years. I decided to completely change tack 10 years ago and became a web designer and developer. I worked at the BBC for many years managing one of the teams in Radio & Music building all sorts of interesting applications like the radio player, now the BBC iPlayer, and sites from Radio 1, 1xtra, Radios 2, 3, 4, 5live, 6music, BBC7, BBC Music, The Proms, Asian Network and a number of other sites.

In 2006 I left the BBC and lived in Lisbon for a while, DJing, taking photos and drawing. I now consider Lisbon as my second home and visit very regularly.

Upon returning to London I started working in new media again but soon realised that I wanted to pursue an illustration and painting career. So I studied Illustration at LCC, developing a penchant for large-scale portraiture, which I think has something to do with having been a make-up artist and studying people’s faces for so long. I am now developing my style of work and exhibiting as much as I can.
