Rebekah Ford

Design, build, draw, play…

I’m a digital creative: artist, developer, designer, illustrator. I love solving puzzles, consulting, collaborating and mentoring. I have worked with many different clients: big and small. I like working with people. I’ve set up creative workshops with people of all ages and abilities and I sometimes mentor kids who want to code and design. I’m currently working on a number of arts-funded digital projects.

Right now I'm... I'm working on a UX project at Tate and also the research and development stage for a digital art commission for RSC.

I've worked with a variety of clients; some are individuals or start ups and some are well-known larger brands, mostly in the arts sector. I have worked in a variety of roles including designer/developer, workshop facilitair, mentor, graphic designer, illustrator and artist.

Rebekah devised and facilitated the first RSC Staff Hack Day in 2014. The aim of the day was to bring together people from different parts of the organisation to use the principles of a Hack to explore lean, agile and exciting ways the company could look at simplifying a complex offer to audiences.

Rebekah used her expertise to lead a team of freelancers to deliver the session. Rebekah’s insight and sensitive approach enabled a range of people to contribute and confidently explore a new way of working. Feedback from the event was positive and inspired by the day.
